Dinner plate, salad plate, bread and butter plate, teacup, tea saucer Fine bone china Renaissance gold Dishwasher safe This stunning and ornate dinnerware pattern was inspired by decorative motifs used by Scottish neoclassical architect and designer Robert Adam, showcased on the pure oval forms of the Wedgwood archive cameo. This 5-Piece Place Setting includes everything needed for one guest's full dinner service; three beautiful fine china plates and a-cup with saucer; all rendered in a bold Wedgwood blue finish and decorated with intricate gilded detailing and a neoclassical laurel border inspired by patterns from the Wedgwood archives.
Ordered 2 sets to 'test'. They arrived well packaged, each set in a cardboard box that protects it from transportation damage. The quality is good, oval patterns are sharp and the gold detailing lovely. My only gripe is that the thick dark blue rim of one of the plates is not evenly coloured - not sure if this is intentional (part of the design) or not. Other than that, very pleased with this buy. Just ordered more!
