I bought this drive after using the Samsung 830 SSD on my MacBook Pro. That drive was fast and super reliable, hopefully the streak will continue with this one. On typical day to day operations, I don't really notice a difference between the two. The 128 GB version performs with remarkable speed and stability. After almost 2 weeks of very heavy use on a fresh install of Windows 7, I've experienced no issues. Samsung's 4th-generation 3-Core MDX Controller has been and still is at the top of the heap.
