Pigtail-style 1/4" OD recoil air (pneumatic) hose for use with air tools in indoor or outdoor applications Polyurethane material resists kinking, abrasion, UV radiation, electricity, oil, chemicals, heat, and weather 1/4" male NPT swivel ends to reduce hose twisting and attach to female NPT end connectors Bend restrictors to reduce kinking and extend hose life 120 pounds per square inch (psi) for maximum working pressure The pigtail-style Amflow 24-25E-RET 1/4" OD recoil air hose is made of polyurethane and has male National Pipe Taper (NPT) end connections for attaching to air-powered tools and equipment for indoor or outdoor applications. The air hose has a pigtail-style body which self-recoils after extension during use, and it is made of polyurethane for abrasion, ultraviolet (UV) radiation, oil, electrical, and chemical resistance. The polyurethane construction also resists weather, ozone, and heat damage, doesn't cause marring to sensitive surfaces, and weighs less than hoses made of other materials. The air hose has 1/4" male NPT swivel end connections to attach to female-threaded fittings, attachments, or tool connections, while reducing hose twisting and kinks. Bend restrictors also help reduce kinking for prolonged hose life. The air hose has a maximum working pressure of 120 pounds per square inch (psi), and a temperature range of -30 to 150 degrees F. This recoil air hose is suitable for industrial, contractor, or household use with air compressors, nailers, sprayers, and staple guns, among other pneumatic tools. Air hoses, also called pneumatic hoses, transfer air to or from an air compressor, air tool, or other pneumatic component for inflation or air power purposes. Air hoses have a round shape, hollow centers, and come in two types: straight hose lengths or coiled. Coiled hoses often use softer material, making it suitable for household air compressor applications. Common materials used for air hose construction include flexible yet abrasion-resistant plastics, such as polyurethane and nylon. Air hoses connect to a variety of fittings, including barbed, compression, and push-to-connect fittings to accommodate various applications or to redirect airflow. Air hoses are commonly used to deliver air from compressors and pumps to tires and other inflatable objects, or to transmit compressed air to power pneumatic system components, like air cylinders, and air-powered tools, which include sprayers and nail guns, among others. Plews and Edelmann manufactures automotive and pneumatic hose, lines, reels, accessories, fittings, and lubricants under brands such as Edelmann, Amflo, Omega, LubriMatic, and UltraLube. The company, founded as E. Edelmann and Co. in 1909, is headquartered in Dixon, IL.
