It does double duty by holding your hitch gear tight & your PIN.
This seemed to be a really good idea to me but it would not work on my Subaru factory hitch. The wedge needs a pretty big gap on the side for the tapered side to wedge between the hitch and receiver. The offset eyebolt would not line up properly. I may try to use a straight eyebolt and see how that works. If it doesn't, I'll try to return.
