I am a bit of an ice cream connoisseur and have tried many different ice cream makers in the past. Not all have been terrible but let me tell you - if you only want to make one serving at a time, this is your best bet. Also having the option to churn to a soft serve consistency which is how I prefer my ice cream is wonderful...just put it in the freezer a few minutes to firm it up. Lastly, being able to only make a small portion keeps me from overindulging which happens far ..

I bought this at a local Bed,Bath and Beyond. I wanted to make frozen yogurt. I followed the instructions to stir and scrape the sides of the bowl but it kept freezing solid on the sides before I could get anywhere. One of the user blogs said to think out the yogurt with milk. I tried that and the same thing happened. But on my third try it worked. There instructions are not quite correct. They SHOULD say to scrape the sides and fold that into the center batter or custar..
