My 89 dodge ram 318 block had a rope seal on it and I could not get it out. I bought this bad boy and it took it out with ease. Pro-tips... 1) definitely untorque and loosen the main cap bolts on the crank and tap with a rubber mallet to slightly drop the caps and crank. 2) tighten in the corkscrew removal tool.
