This mermaid tail has been custom designed with our very own 3D scale pattern that is unlike any other fabric. It is also machine washable. Our tails slip over the child's existing swimsuit and are open at the bottom. Because the bottom is open the tail can be raised above the feet for ease of walking on dry ground or help when standing in water. These tails have been designed to be beautiful and realistic for a fraction of the price of silicone tails. They move naturally through the water and look very realistic especially when you are using our custom designed monofin flipper. The monofin is made to fit any foot size. Our tails are designed to hold our monofin perfectly and it will not slip out even though they are open at the bottom. The monofin is also open at the bottom to allow it to dry quickly. You can easily add or remove the monofin from your mermaid tail at anytime. Our tails are made from swimsuit fabrics which are 80% polyester and 20% spandex. Remember our tails really stretch especially when they are wet so they are quite forgiving. Please see our size charts to select the size that will fit you best.
