Shrink-wrapped Ghost ship is an Americana band based in Seattle, WA. Between planting churches, pastoring, and leading worship at their home church, Ghost Ship writes and records gospel albums focused on communicating the complexity of scripture with simplicity, poetry, and emotional intimacy. Lead singer Cam Huxford pays tribute to his southern heritage by way of root and folk influences, and utilizes his passion for ministry as the driving force for his song writing. Alongside fellow band members Shay Carlucci, Jameson Dewlen, Chae Choi, and Doug Finefrock, the group believes the best sermons come from our own collective stories. Since 2009, Ghost Ship has released two EPs and two full length records, with a third, To The End, set for release August 9th. Perhaps the most personal of Ghost Ship releases, To The End narrates Huxford's life over a four year period of personal disintegration and Holy restoration. The songs epitomize our struggles and God's ability to transcend them, illuminating how His love not only breaks into and changes our current circumstances, but offers a glimpse into the eternal healing to come.
