I ordered this and was a bit confused when I received it. If only the screen were as bright as it appears in the photographs. To be honest, I thought the display was broken, it was so dark. I actually took the time to go to a store and look at other Leaptops because I was so sure I'd need to send the one I ordered back because it was defective. Sadly, I realized that's how it's supposed to look; there's no backlighting. But my little one liked it, especially music ..
