As a privacy filter, this does a fine job. When viewed from the side, nothing on screen is visible. However, I purchased this both for privacy and for its anti-glare properties. I had noticed that at the end of a work day my eyes were quite tired and I thought a filter might help. Unfortunately, this filter actually has a significant glare. I have a 24" monitor and have looked for a long time for a privacy screen that would perform as advertised. I had a great one years ago for a small monitor but most all the ones I had seen recently were cheaply made; but not priced cheaply. I was reluctant to get a set of these filters due to the cost but since they were the only ones that seemed to be rated very well, I decided to go with them. I like that they are framed instead of being a sheet of film that goes on the screen because sometimes it is nice to be able to take them off easily.
