This thermometer determines the temperature of foods quickly (less that 10 seconds to stable), whether holding on a buffet line or being cooked to order. The Taylor Gourmet Instant Read Thermometer is protected by a shatterproof plastic lens that can withstand being dropped without any damage. It's smooth brushed stainless steel casing is a wonderful high-end kitchen look and its square shape won't roll off counters. The thermometer displays temperature form 20° to 220° F, so it can be used for a variety of foods. The thermometer has a 1 1/2" magnified dial with large numbers and a 5" stainless steel stem. The thermometer can be used for multiple purposes (meat, casseroles, soups, grilling, etc.). Protect the thermometer during storage with the included pocket sleeve. The thermometer is NSF certified. Helpful hints: Instant read pocket thermometers are not meant to be left in food during cooking.
