I'm using one of these to display the DVI output from my PC on my 27" iMac at full 2560x1440 resolution. Here's what I've observed after using it for about 3 hours.Positives:1. No noticable display lag.2. Perfect picture.3. Plug and Play. No drivers required. The USB is just used for power.Negatives:1. The construction feels very cheap and lightweight.
I recently purchased a 27" apple cinema display to use with my new PC. This thing works perfectly. I spent way too much time trying to get a straight answer from the apple people, who ultimately told me I could try to buy a different product that has been discontinued and it wouldn't allow the display to utilize its maximum resolution or the speakers, web cam or built in microphone. Does what it advertises. Plug in to MacBook Pro 3,1, plug into Apple 24" LED Cinema Display, everything worked. USB plug is used for power, so no extra power cords/bricks needed (you can even get that power from Cinema Display USB outputs if the cables are long enough). Display looks good.
