A consummate songwriter and performer, Melwood Cutlery has delighted audiences from Dawson City, Yukon to Austin, Texas. His songwriting ability moves seamlessly from ballads and lullabies to folk, country, blues and rock. Campfire , Melwood s first release on Borealis, delivers the powerful range of style and emotion that have become Melwood's trademark sound. From the intimate acoustics of "Jimmy's Room" to the hard-hitting commentary of "Walkerton", he brings a strong new voice while reconnecting with his Highway 7 roots in his hometown, Ottawa. Melwood's songwriting ability ranges from ballads and lullabies to folk, country, blues and rock. He's been known to yodel when the occasion demands. He has performed across Canada, received airplay in the U.S. and Europe, and continues to inspire audiences wherever he plays.
