My brother got the YLOD, so I took it apart and reflow(with a heat gun) added the shims and paste etc. To my surprise it worked. Gave it back to my brother and he played it for 2-3weeks and the YLOD came back. So I had some left over paste, did it again and reflowed and it turned back on, only to get the YLOD a day later. Unfortunately I couldn't get it to stay on long enough to get the game saves off. So if you have nothing to lose try this kit. My bro..
