I bought this version hoping that the matrix functions might have been "augmented" ( no pun intended.. OK pun intended! ). From what I can tell, other than a sleeker industrial design, this is the same as the EL-W516.In any case, a great calc.Dave
I have used Sharp scientific calculators over the past 8 years with no disappointment. I decided to replace my faithful EL 506. Its battery died 2 years ago and its been running on solar ever since, as I never got time to replace it (yes it works excellent under fluorescent light so it wasnt a problem).
