I bought this and The Nursery Rhyme Book at the same time. I prefer the NRB because, as a beginner piano player, the arrangements and the keys are a little easier. Hal likes to put everything in the hardest possible key, no G's C's or F's with him.
This is a really complete book. It has all of the songs I remember, and many that I do not know. The piano is easy enough for me to play (even though I have not taken lessons since I was a kid, and I was never that good) when I get by a keyboard, and easy to sing to my toddler. Eventually, I expect to teach some basic music skills with this book.
