I bought this to pair with an Alpine PDX-V9 (4 x 100 watts 500 watts) amplifier, and with the subwoofer output gain set at half, it fried after only 30 minutes of playing. I was sent a replacement but never really turned the volume up because I was afraid it would fry as well.
