This was my first Nailtiques color polish and I can't say that I was impressed. I thought the consistency would be like the nail proteins with color, but they are thicker and do not dry as fast. The color is a nice rich red, but I think I'll just stick to the clear protein since my nails look nice enough with no color now. I was just curious.
I love Nailtiques products, and this lovely shade, "San Tropez", was exactly what I wanted! It's a very pale, subtle color, almost clear but with a hint of barely-there pink.
San Tropez is much lighter than I expected. I find it more like a super translucent white-tan-pink, rather than the perfect pale pink some described. It takes many coats to cover, and sadly for me, it doesn't stay on my chipping/peeling nails--even for an evening out.
