I bought this speaker a little over a year ago.When I first received it, I could not get it to work. The amp was fine. I discovered one set of the terminals were backwards. When i hooked it up right, it sounded pretty good. I had it in the worst box i ever built, as it was my first box. There were also two 8in Pyramid subs in the same box. I have an audiobahn 10" 600 watt subwoofer that I got for $250, and this subwoofer hooked up to the same amp is a lot louder, because it has more surface area and is a dual voice coil (DVC) subwoofer. I originally thought it would be an okay sub, but it is pretty good. It is higher quality than I had expected, it is very good for the price. I am going to soon buy another.
