A concern was all the reviews talking of the cheap plastic tabs on the brackets breaking off, the unit I received in Aug 2013 had all metal tabs, which seem quite sturdy.
I bought two of these. One to go behind my LCD TV and one to go next to my media center where all of my home theater components are. This was exactly what I needed as it is flush with the wall, includes 2 power outlets, and an amply sized bulk-wire hole into which I can feed all of my home theater wires. The only downside to this thing is the build quality of the screw/flaps that hold it onto the wall. There are 4 of them and they are made of a cheap/brittle/flemsy/fragile plastic that will break EASILY..
I got an ultra low profile wall mount for my LG 55LW5600 TV and first purchased a standard straight recessed power outlet, due to the large plug on the TV the recess was not enough for the TV to sit flush to the wall. This outlet (although it needs a larger hole in the wall) allows the plug to sit totally recessed into the wall so that the TV can sit very close to the wall. As others have mentioned the tabs are fragile but I was careful with them and it was just fine.
