My black S4 looks mysterious and marvelous in the white/gray Otter Commuter. It looks very solid, with an excellent fit. The plastic is textured so it won't slip in my hand, but the soft case is surrounded by harder plastic so it slips in/out of the packet with ease. The Otterbox cases are incredible. I had one on my iPhone 4S for years and it never failed me. This case looks even more well made and fits like a glove. I know that some people have complained that the buttons on the S3 case were hard to push but I don't have any problems with this S4 case.I've seen a lot of reviews about the Galaxy S4 where people complain that the quality of the build of the phone is poor; especially since its plastic. Put one of these cases on and your flimsy phone becomes rock solid!!
The Otterbox Commuter for the Galaxy S3 almost made me lose faith with Otterbox Products. The Iphone 5 Commuter isn't as bad as the S3 but wasn't up to par.The new Galaxy S4 case does everything that an Otterbox should. It fits precisely, protects the phone, is easy to install, offers good grip while being easy to slide in and out of the pocket, and looks good on the phone.
