I don't know why people are giving this product bad reviews. This adaptor is PERFECT for what I need it to do. Please read the description carefully before purchasing. This is not an Ethernet hub/switch and it is not a one-for-one RJ45 splitter. This is an ethernet adaptor that lets you use the two unused pairs on a Cat5 cable.
