Everything always breaks when it hits my tile floors, but not these bowls, they simply bounce to a halt. The rubber bottom helps to stabilize them when mixing. The colors hold up to the dishwasher.
These bowls are great and are already seeing lots of action in my kitchen. I am so glad I bought this set.Edit (1/3/10):New rating - 3After having this set for a while now and using the bowls quite regularly, the large red bowl has somehow gotten a crack in the bottom (starting at a point in the center and going outward in a sort of firework pattern).
