I was really let down by this product. Because of the great reviews, I decided to purchase a few of these for my cardmaking and art journaling. What a big mistake. The piercer does puncture holes in the paper but they also leave behind unappealing pressure marks or creases along the cardstock. I thought buying some of these would keep me from having to buy a sewing machine but it looks like I'm going to have to purchase one to get the stitched loo..
