I bought this keyboard for my 5 yr. old grandson. He knows his letters and letter sounds very well. I thought this could be a good learning tool and the next step in his learning process. This would be OK for a 7 or 8 yr. old but at five it is just tedious for him. The games also dont give clear directions. The age range os decieving. It is just too complicated for a child that cant read fairly well. He has been playing his V Smile for 2 years and loves it. He has both the pocket version and the regular one..
