It is always dangerous to purchase a pair of binoculars without first trying them out. However I ordered this pair after it was recommended by a photography magazine I read, and I have been very happy with them. On my previous binoculars the diopter setting had to be re-adjusted for different distances, which was exceptionally annoying when trying to identify moving birds.
