Suunto makes a whole line of adventure, outdoor watches, the Ambit series in my opinion is the best for all all around outdoors. There are 2 watches - Ambit 2 and Ambit 2S, the quick difference? the S is less expensive ($100), smaller, thinner, lighter(.75 oz) (not much but noticeable) BUT has less battery.
