That's A League of Their Own, a movie that looks at a historic point in the history of sports when professional women's baseball was all the rage. Just look at the lineup: Geena Davis, Madonna, Tom Hanks, Rosie O'Donnell, Jon Lovitz and Lori Petty. Together, they hit up viewers with an assault of dingers that will have you laughing over the centerfield wall. Good-natured, hilarious and bright, A League of Their Own will take home your pennant.
The 2-Disc DVD Special Edition of 1992's "A League Of Their Own" (released on April 20, 2004) scores a grand-slam on my DVD Scorecard. Sporting a fun array of bonus features, a beautiful anamorphically-enhanced widescreen picture, and very clever menu screens, this DVD version of this timeless motion picture is a winner all the way around.

Madonna and Rosie O'Donnell were surprisingly good as the loudmouth-but-secretly-caring-and-feeling Mae and Doris. You'll fall in love with Ann Cusack's "Shirley Baker", and poor, homely but super-star batter Marla Ho..
