There are some 1 star reviews and they all make the same complaint,and they all have A) defective equipment or B) it's user error.This call is not a typical duck call that you blow into. You have to make the lowest bass note you can hum in your throat - "HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM" and hum into the call to make quick short whistley/quacks to imitate the Mallard Drake.
