This is an addition to my colletion of Leatherman products, including many of their multitools and folding knives. The product itself is GREAT; total function and fairly light to use; very well constructed and fit/finish is excellent. However, the sheath is of poor quality - materials and assembly are both below the Leatherman standard I have known in the past. The stitching is marginal and even the "snap closure" doesn't work. Please explain to me -- WHAT HAPPENED..
Just my quick 2 bits here: The leatherman comes with the Quick-Release Pocket Clip, the leather sheath and Lanyard Ring. There's no need to purchase it separately.
I loved my old Tti, but I lost it. So I bought a new one. Well, it's still a great tool, but I received the newer version, not the same as in the photo. They changed the handles so they're not pure titanium anymore... there's a metal plate that attaches to each handle. Although it's a minor change, I found it a bit annoying and created a lot more sharp edges on the handle then the original version.The new design doesn't affect the tool much, everything else is the same. J..
