After initial setup, heating element becomes virtually self-heating and requires little electrical current to heat an entire room. Adjustable thermostat maintains desired temperature. Ceramic heater has two heat settings, one-fan only setting and a two-prong plug. Built-in thermal cutoff prevents the heater from overheating. If the temperature rises above a certain point, the thermal cutoff will kick in and stop the heater.
