I have had this Radio for 2 1/2 years and has worked fine, although I would suggest getting a better mic, the stock one leaves a lot to be desired. But all in all a great radio for the money!!!!
This is the second Cobra of this model we have had. It is used quite intensely throughout everyday of the week and gets worked over pretty good. It has been a great radio for us and know this second one will perform in kind.
i have had this radio in my tractor at work since january and it is a fantastic radio, so quiet you don't even know its on most of the time, i use it with a 3ft wilson fiberglass antenna and never had any problems, as for the weather band i have never had any problems receiving weather broadcasts so i don't know what the other guy is talking about, also the illuminated face comes in handy at night, which is mostly when i drive, i'm planning on buying a second one f..
