Install was a snap and the software that came with the item was nice. I hear of alot of bad reviews on the DVD 9, but I had no problem with vista 32. After install, I put in a bluray movie, made some adjustments and voila, I am watching bluray on my HDTV. Looks crisp and clear with my 23" and 40" TV.
Love this unit! It has become my main burner in a 3 burner system. DVD, CD, and bluray work without a hitch. Plug and play but I recomend getting the newest drivers from liteon. The bluray/dvd player app works well also as a bonus. I have not tried the lightscribe out. All in all a solid burner so far.
