A PU midsole is both lightweight and extremely durable and the cushioned feel it gives is accentuated by a Merrell air cushion in the heel which absorbs impact vibrations and adds stability for enhanced foot support. An EcoRight and Lazy Foam footbed uses 70% recycled open-cell Remember Me Foam™ to cradle the foot and provide a plush cushioned ride and protect the foot from sudden impacts. At the outsole a durable rubber construction features an M-Select GRIP pattern for excellent and long-lasting traction. Breathable mesh lining treated with M-Select FRESH technology creates a self-regulating odour control system that keeps the feet fresher for longer and the hiking shoes are finished with a butterfly TPU shank for enhanced support at the midfoot—ideal for escapades over difficult terrains. - L.R.
