Product was as advertised and installation was simple. Adapter worked great for a while but broke within a few days. I drifted into some weeds while boating a catch and when I turned on the trolling motor to move out, the plastic adapter broke from the metal ring. This might be a great product for you if you take care, but that's not me. Found a metal adapter to replace it.
I noticed that Humminbird has added a meal strengthener too the back of the transducer "holder". This is not depicted in the Amazon image. The plastic for the holder is very thin, so I can see why they might have problems. I ordered one day shipping because I wanted to take it out today. Amazing job, Fedex. Vegas to Raleigh delivery overnight.
