Greg Laswell returns with Landline, a stunning and sonically dense collection of new songs. The album features collaborationswith a number of Greg s female indie-pop contemporaries including Sia, Ingrid Michaelson, Elizabeth Ziman (of Elizabeth and theCatapult), and Sara Bareilles (on the album s lead single, Come Back Down ).
I don't think I've met anyone who knows Laswell and isn't blown away. The back-ups of Sara Bareilles on Come Back Down and Ingrid Michaelson on Landline are perfect choices. This is a beautiful album
First, Greg's music and this album specificly is great. I highly recommend it.However, this pressing was of very low quality. The cover was grainy, seemly printed in a low resolution. The record itself has some minor (nothing that effected it's playing) scratches on the surface, the album label was a plain blue disc, with only the letters "a/b" at the bottom. They were applied poorly, with lots of big wrinkles. The over all audio quality is scratchy, as if ..
