Actually this "ball" works exactly as it's described. It does add a level of realism to the bowling game but it's counter intuitive to hold onto the ball when you should be letting it fly down the lane, into your TV. Having said that, it's only a matter of time before you get used to it and in my opinion does add another dimension to the game.
