having long been a fan of this cat's music i always keep an ear on what he puts out. HE IS ONE OF THE BEST ALL AROUND musical talents over the past 20 plus years to me. dig his vocals, versatility and instrumentation depth. this album covers music and vibes which have influenced him. Brian is scary badd i mean he can go into so many styles, the only thing that hurts him is not having that money track. but he has the goods musially. this is a cool album. i wish he would hav..
bEST Brian1. I REMEMBER YOU2. ANYTIME3. BRIAN MCKNIGHT4. MORE THAN WORDSWorst BriAN1. SUPER HERO2. EVOLUTION OF A MAN (EXCEPT FOR "ANOTHER YOU". THAT SONG IS CRAZY BEAUTIFUL.)
More than words is a good album from Brian McKnight. It follows his trend of being more soulful and mellow in his recent albums and less pop sounding than some of his previous albums. Most of the songs here are the standard fair that you are use to hearing from him but that being said there is very little different than his previous albums. Brian McKnight has basically mastered the tasteful, artfully arranged R&B song it rarely veers out of his comfort zone. There is a bit of variety in the album though ..
