My wife just got this for me as a gift. I would have bought it from amazon but she beat me to it. It's about $8 cheaper here then from Lowe's where she got it. I have had my Stanley fatmax antivibe hammer for a few years and loved it but it is a 20oz curved claw so it's to light for driving nails bigger then 8d. The reason I went with this version over the 28 oz fatmax was the larger striking surface. Most all hammers do exactly what there suppose..
