I'm going to start like everyone else by saying.....I love Halestorm! I've seen them in concert and have the debut, the live cd/dvd and even the phsyical copy of the ReAnimate EP. Lzzy is the voice that rock music has been desperately needing, Arejay's drumming blows me away.That being said this is album has been severely dumbed down, lyrically. I enjoyed Halestorm's debut album, but The Strange Case Of... blows it away. There isn't one song I hate enough to skip and there is about a 70% hard rock to 30% ballad ratio here. The first four songs alone should rock your world.Lzzy Hale is a mix of Joan Jett and Lita Ford. She's by far the superior singer of the three, though Lita has her beat on lead guitar of course.
