We bought first the RDX Dock USB 2.0.. that was a no no.. It is very very slow. The time difference when making back ups is huge, when you compare it with this one (the 3.0). We backed up 45-50 GB daily in little less that 45 mins. We loved it, we didnt pic it by brand nor price. We work in the IT department for a local insurance company and I can say that it really met our needs.
