I bought this after much research looking for a high-quality vacuum that could handle lots of dirt and dog hair on carpet, tile and furniture. I loathe the series of failed vacuums that I've owned in the past. From getting clogged easily or having pathetic suction to that horrible burning belt smell or just freakin breaking... Three stars means "I like it". But:Here's the Pros:1.) It really sucks! (That's a good thing!) It has tremendous suction power.2.) It is an efficient bagless upright. I never thought I would love a vacuum - but this one is great. I have lots of dust and dog hair because I live in a dry climate with 2 dogs that shed a lot. I have owned several Hoover Wind Tunnels and also a Bissell pet hair vacuum. The Hoovers have those paper cylinder filters that get dust covered and have to be cleaned off multiple times each time I vacuum or it cuts the suction.
