I bought this ligher as a gift for a friend. I found it to be well constructed and the stamped Navy logo to have great detail with a quality plating. Overall it was on-par with Zippo construction and expect it to last a long time.My friend is a cigar smoker so I also purchased a ZPlus butane torch insert for this lighter. Together they're a winning package for your Navy buddy who smokes cigars. This lighter also would work well with the Thunderbird soft flame butane insert..
