I bought several of these chains. They are the best that I have tried so far. I have a 3.7" Craftsman so there is enough power to work it. It cut through a 20" Red Maple (actually 8 cuts) in no time. Huge chips that I have not seen in any of my multitude of chains previously. This is NOT a chain for folks that have no idea of how to use a chainsaw. You will hurt yourself if you are not careful because of its speed of cut and aggressiveness. But if you want a serious chain, and have a real job to do, ..
Probably nothing wrong with this chain but I was unable to use it. It's possible craftsman has a different saw with an 18" blade other than the one I own but I couldn't tell from the information on the website that there might be a difference. This chain was much too large for my Craftsman 18" saw. I thought 18 inches was 18 inches. Check the model number to find out which chain fits your saw before ordering.
