Honestly I didn't buy this sketch pad off of Amazon. I bought the one I have from an art supply store, I could have saved some money but it was worth what I ended up paying. The size is perfect if you, like me take your sketch book with you where ever you go. I wish I had found this one first since it is made from recycled paper. There's plenty of pages. I think it would make a wonderful, inexspensive gift for yourself or anyone.
I'm using this sketchbook for watercolors. (I'm an artist and this is by no means what it's intended for; the weight of the paper is far too light to be considered watercolor paper.) The paper curls a tiny, but holds up to the watercolors. There's no bleed-through.
Again, this is not its intended purpose, but I figure that gives an idea of what the weight of the paper is.
