We have two pairs of Bushnell binoculars, one 8x42 Porro-prism set and this 10x42 roof prism binocular. I should have done my research better to understand the difference between the two styles. Immediately I discovered with the Powerview exactly what I later discovered is a characteristic of roof-prism models. As Wikipedia (... says, "Roof-prisms designs create an instrument that is narrower and more compact than Porro prisms. There is also a difference in image brightness. P..
