Update 12/29/14:I have had this scope on my rifle for a year and it has been great. Light transmission in the field is excellent at dusk. Twenty minutes after sunset, deer in a field 200 yards away at 9X magnification became a little blurry, but that is fine, A shot at this time of day is not an ethical one no matter what scope you have.
