Case has an excellent reputation. If you've never owned one then this might be the one to try. The blue bone is cheaper than most others and it looks good too. This is a small knife and not for heavy duty use. it is good for casual or "dress" use. The fit and finish our very good and the stainless steel blades are sharp right out of the box. If you give this as a gift and it is not well received then you probably should not be friends with that person. You can buy cheaper, but it would be hard to buy better..
My husband loves blue and I got this knife for him for Christmas. He was thrilled. It is a beautiful knife with a great shape -- easy to hold and use. Very sharp. Fits great in his pocket. He loves Case quality products.
