I just recently acquired this magnet, AFTER being in a situation where I HAD to get a screw out of a motor I was working on, but didn't have a magnet. One of the ladies who was near by had a name tag with a magnetic holder on it, so she took off her name tag and let me borrow the magnetic half of that name tag. It worked marvelously.. That's when I concluded that I needed a strong magnet in my array of tools. THIS ONE IS WORKING MIGHT FINE... I highly recommend it.. TEKTON 7611 24-Inch Flexible Magnet..
This is a fantastic item. I wish i would have bought it sooner.Its perfect for whenever im working on my car and happen to drop a bolt in that little crevice no one can reach.Pleased with this item.
What a stunning tool for the price. 24" gives you plenty of reach, the flexible handle gets you into any spot and the strength of the magnet will amaze you. I dropped my new set of 5" vise grips on the floor to see how the Tekton would react. The grips JUMPED up off the floor and onto that magnet without even touching it. Yup, it works. Nice tool and I'm an idiot for doing car repair for over 30 years and not owning one. This is such an inexpensive tool, too.
