 | Author: Allen C in Kansas City .. | Received the unit 5 days after ordering from BrainyDeals out of NY. Came in a nice labeled box with a foam sleeve inside to protect it. I bought this to use with Torque on Android. Tested on 1997 Ford Taurus, 1999 Jeep Wrangler, 1999 Chevy Trailblazer(Blazer), works perfect. I even tried the Ford Extended PID's with my Taurus and it works 100%. Range is what is to be expected for Bluetooth, with my car doors closed I can walk away about 20-25 feet and maintain a perfect data stream. Not a single time-out or drop-out of the bluetooth connection to my Samsung Galaxy S (SCH-i500). The unit connected immediately and works perfectly in both my '98 Jag XK8 and my '08 Jeep Commander. The pairing code is 1234 in case you're looking for it. I use the Torque Android app - no problems. Recommended! | 31 |

Research showed that likely PIN's were 0000; 1234; or 6789. None of these worked. I was very excited about this purchase as I had wanted to use Torque OBD on my tab. From the reviews I've read your odds of getting a working unit run around 50/50. | 29 |
